The
following project was for a residence. When the client was in
our gallery, they became intrigued by the visual style of one
of our artists but the paintings currently in our inventory did
not meet their specific size requirements. Our close relationship
with our artists allowed us to work with the artist to develop
this series of paintings.
The client came in looking for "a" painting. The three
smaller pieces were the brainstorm of Steve, the owner, who suggested
them to the client who became excited and agreed. We were able
to produce the wood boxes for the paintings in our woodshop to
our specifications, and commission the artist to paint the four
pieces as a series.
Part of the art consultation process involved meeting the client
in their home and reviewing their art needs in the actual space.
To aid the process of finalizing designs when we returned to our
gallery, we took digital photos of the space. These photos have
proven to be one of our most valuable tools. Here are some of
the "before" images:

The final project also included a series of smaller framed pieces
on an adjacent wall, specifically tailored to compliment the paintings,
and accentuate the square table and its high gloss wood material.
